Marlene never experiences a dull moment as an agent at Chris van der Walt Properties and feels her job “keeps her on her toes”. 

This wife and mother certainly has mastered time management skills as she has two teenage boys and recently became one of the three partners of Chris van der Walt Properties. 

Marlene was born in Cape Town but raised in Port Elizabeth and has lived here “all her life”. After matriculating from Alexander Road High, she considered a career in Journalism as she studied at the (then) Port Elizabeth Technikon and University of Port Elizabeth. 

However, she soon opted for a more people orientated profession in the travel trade and spent some time in insurance, accounting and brokerage before she found her calling in property. 

Marlene has run the rental division of the company for the past seven years and specialises in rental properties. She is devoted to her career and dedicated to satisfying all her clients’ property needs. 

Having completed her EAB exam, she is impressively qualified as a property agent and her extensive experience is an asset for her clients.
