JOAN MASSEY-HICKS - 082 657 1883

Joan has an amazing 20 years experience in the property market. She entered the profession two decades ago after having answered an advertisement for property agents. 

Today she specialises in property transactions in the Charlo, Walmer Heights, Broadwood, Lovemore Heights, Miramar and Mount Pleasant areas and has seven years experience doing valuations in the residential market. 

Joan is a 53-year-old wife and mother to four children of which two are twin sons. She is an animal lover who sees her dogs as her hobby. 

Despite investing most of her time in making sure her clients always receive the best property solutions, Joan tries to find time to read, spend time with her beloved dogs and even do some water aerobics. 

Over the past 25 years she has made her home in Port Elizabeth after having lived in Durban, East London and Johannesburg. Her initial career plans involved banking, however the property market is better-off in having gained her contributions since 1987. 

What Joan loves most about her job is being able to interact with people. “I think right now Port Elizabeth is a buyers market,” she says.
